Jordan, love the videos, man. Been folllowing you for a long time. I was wondering, im in the UK and ive trained BJJ for around 4 years. Im considering a vacation to america in the summer and wondered if you let people swing by and train anytime? 👍

Martial arts are situational, always have been. Ive trained jiu jitsu for 4 years now (Blue belt) and i started for confidence and self defence reasons and now, its simply for the love and evolution of the sport. Id rather know what i know, and be in shape, than not know anything at all.

One thing that I hate is, I roll really slow. I just tried to do stuff really fun and easy. I don’t stink or anything. I’ve just been doing it for a long long time, but I don’t only do Jujitsu. I do Sambo catch wrestling some judo. I’ve got it in tournaments and I walk around. I’ll roll with guys and just work on stuff and then I’ll get over and I’ll ask someone if they wanna roll around and they’re like no I go over to another guy. No, I go over to another guy. No, I don’t really wanna gowith you cause you know I don’t know you know it’s just there’s so many egos and it drives me crazy because we’re rolling and I might get the upper hand on you. That doesn’t mean anything. It’s just practice just drives me crazy. The biggest thing is like so many excuses like that.

1:50min the lasso sweep it was just brilliant. This always happens, the opponent tries to move away and you need to know what to do with your legs.

One element people tend to overlook is that when you train a martial art, you are more confident and many fights never even start. Because people can feel it, you're giving it off.

Probably not as the first just because it's more of a guard you transition to from another guard first. But still is useful to work on!

Hi Jordan, how about those opponent who are aware of the choke then he chins down so you cant properly insert your choking arm to his neck.

Jiu jitsu doesnt work in the streets. It was designed for the battlefield while fighting samurai with swords and armor. Yall bjj guys are so dumb. Steeets have knifes and multiple people

Ideally you avoid 50/50 but you can still take people down from that position…I do it regularly. Grip fighting makes it easier tho for sure. Puts the opponent on the defense generally and you can go on the offense. Also I see far too many bjj players shoot for a single while in 50/50. It’s so painfully obvious when you guys do that I can feel the level change.
